Comic Books Begging for the Big Screen

A ton of comic book inspired movies in production does not hide the fact there are still plenty of other comic books begging for the big screen treatment. If these comic books are greenlit into production, plenty of people would line up outside any theater to see them:

Wonder Woman: This is the original prototype for all tough chicks. There have been several attempts to bring the Amazonian Princess to the screen before, but each time the project has crumbled before it got off the ground. Wonder Woman is as much of a DC Comics icon as Batman and Superman. She deserves some time in the limelight.

Powers: Any story featuring a cop taking down super-powered people gaining super powers himself is a story worth committing to film. Few comic books have ever tread into Academy Award territory, but this is a complex enough tale to pull such a feat.

Ronin: Another brilliant creation from Frank Miller. A 17th Century samurai has both his mind and soul transported to the distant future to fight the mother of all demons. You know after seeing “300″ and “Sin City” translate to the big screen that this tale would feature some mind-blowing scenes.
