Most Annoying Stars in Hollywood

We all have our list of those particular actors and actresses that we hate so much we will avoid seeing what looks like an otherwise incredible movie to avoid watching them. Maybe it’s the voice, maybe the mannerisms, or maybe just something about their sheer presence that drives us crazy. We’ve come up with our top five list of most annoying actors in Hollywood for no other purpose than for us all to commiserate these irritating performers.

  1. Keanu Reeves: Some of his movies have actually turned out to be decent, which leaves us wondering how amazing would they have been with a better leading man? The way Keanu Reeves delivers his lines suggests that every word he speaks is a life-changing decree of the upmost importance. Relax a little; you’re barely an A-lister. As he tries to coat his words with a tone of importance you end up laughing at the most serious of lines.
  2. Kristen Stewart: The fact that Stewart has played a few roles as the shy teenage girl led us to cut her a little slack for her awkward movements and lack of focus. But it no longer appears to be acting, but the girl’s own odd mannerisms, which unfortunately come out in every role she plays. Stand up straight and look someone in the eye for once, please!
  3. Miley Cyrus: We’ll give this girl some credit that in her few years on the scene, she’s probably broken every sales and performance record of her father between her acting and singing careers. But, whether or not it’s her unusually deep voice and irritating accent, or the way her mouth is permanently stuck in a pout, watching her on the big screen makes us cringe.
  4. Nicolas Cage: Afflicted with the same line-delivering problem as Keanu Reeves, we can’t seem to understand why Cage refuses to speak in a normal voice. No matter what role he’s playing, he feels the need to speak his lines in a deep whisper. Perhaps it’s a side effect of below-average acting; over-compensate with unnecessarily dramatic voices.
  5. Dane Cook: There’s nothing wrong with a one-dimensional career, you’re a hilarious comedian, why blow it with a terrible acting career. Despite the fact that he is just generally lacking in acting skills, his voice is much more suited for standup. Two hours of his distinctly annoying voice and I was ready to walk out of Good Luck Chuck.
